Team TIME has received the 2015 Farsø Business Award for its ongoing efforts to promote the economic and general development of the Farsø region in the northern part of Denmark. The award, an engraved silver platter, was presented to CEO Per Torp and Technical Manager Frands Kristensen by the chairman of the council, Brian Otte Samuelsen at the general assembly Wednesday.
Deutsche Bahn (DB), the largest Railway Company in Europa, has received two truck mounted Versalifts sold by the German Versalift distributor Ruthmann.
DB has received two Versalift VT-145-F of the HD (Heavy Duty) range of Versalift AWPs mounted on 7.49 t GVW MAN trucks with double cabs and custom aluminium toolbox configurations on the chassis. Equipped with a 200° articulating jib arm, FPC electro-hydraulic controls and non-extendable H-frame outriggers, the AWP has 14.3 metres of working height and up to 9.6 metres of outreach. The maximum platform capacity is 230 kg.
TIME International hosted a successful sales meeting attended by the Ruthmann sales team on March 9-10.
Clear blue skies and minimal wind provided superb conditions for the outdoors demonstration and training of 18 Versalift AWPs set up at the test and training facilities of TIME International in Farsø. Besides the practical demonstration, the sales meeting consisted of strategy discussions, a company presentation and new sales material.
Energy Company Electricity North West has taken delivery of a tailor-made aerial work platform (AWP) mounted on a tracked undercarriage from Versalift UK. The custom AWP has been designed by TIME International to match the tough demands of Electricity North West. The machine is capable of scaling extremely rough terrain to access electrical lines in the most inaccessible locations.
TIME Danmark has delivered a unique Versalift vehicle mounted aerial work platform with elevator to Citelum in response to the company’s recent contract on street light maintenance in Copenhagen.
Citelum has taken delivery of a Versalift vehicle mounted aerial work platform (AWP) from TIME Danmark destined to help the company replace and service thousands of street lights in the municipality of Copenhagen. The transition to the more environmentally friendly LED fixtures is expected to cut energy expenditures by more than half greatly reducing the operating costs for the municipality.
Heavy Duty Versalift
The delivered AWP, a Versalift VT-66-LFE on a 15.5 ton MAN truck, is a top of the line model from the Versalift HD (Heavy Duty) range of AWPs with extra strong booms fabricated from high strength steel providing superior working conditions in the cage. The AWP vehicle is tailored to the specific requests of Citelum making it a truly unique product.
We are strengthening our service department with the addition of a new service technician for TIME Danmark Øst. The new service technician is an expansion of the existing department greatly expanding our capacity in order to better match the service demands of all customers on Zealand and Funen.
The new face, René Larsen, lives in Kalundborg with his girlfriend and 3 kids and enjoys fishing and cooking in his spare time. René has never worked with anything but aerial work platforms and we are confident his more than 25 years of combined experience from the industry will strengthen our aftersales support of Versalift and other brands of access equipment in years to come.
TIME Danmark has returned from a grand scale road show with visits to 24 access rental companies across Denmark.
“It’s a long way down from up there,” said a spectator, as he let go of the railing, untied his safety lanyard and stepped down onto solid ground following a trip that momentarily had brought him 54 metres closer to the sky.
The 54 metre Ruthmann Steiger T 540 truck mounted access platform was a big crowd magnet when TIME Danmark, a subsidiary of American TIME Manufacturing Company, visited Danish access rental companies in November. The caravan, 13 different access platforms with working heights ranging from 5 to 54 metres, visited 24 access rental companies providing their staff the opportunity to see and try a range of new machines and brands.
TIME Danmark will be visiting several Danish equipment rental companies starting next week (3-14 November) for the companies to see, feel and try the machines of TIME Danmarks product catalogue aimed at equipment rental companies.
“We are exciting to meet customers on their turf. We believe the format of the road show gives us a unique opportunity to showcase our products for the entire staff and allow people to familiarize themselves with our products in their own way,” says Lars Rønde, Sales Manager of TIME Danmark.
TIME Danmark is effective immediately the new exclusive Danish distributor of the entire product range of Dinolift of Finland. Dinolift produces trailer lifts, spider lifts and self-propelled boom lifts.
“With the addition of Dinolift, we will be able to offer a complete range of access platform solutions to all kinds of customers in need of safe access to elevated worksites. We are confident, both Dinolift and TIME Danmark will benefit from the ongoing relationship,” says Axel Rask, Sales Manager from TIME Danmark.
The Dinolift range of trailer mounted access platforms is vast, covering maximum working heights from 10 to 26 metres throughout the 17 different models.
Norwegian rental company Høydespesialisten has taken delivery of a Versalift VTX-240 and a Ruthmann Steiger TBR 220 from TIME Danmark. Both access platforms have been installed on Nissan Cabstar chassis and coated in the characteristic blue colours of the Oslo based company.
Jan Jenssen from TIME Danmarks Norwegian distributor Brubakken handed over the keys to Jens Jensen from Høydespesialisten in Oslo making Høydespesialisten in possession of the very first Versalift VTX-240 on Norwegian soil.
Danish Rental Company Ringsted Liftudlejning has taken delivery of a Versalift VTX-240 access platform vehicle from TIME Danmark. Both lift and vehicle, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, have received a custom paint job in orange and yellow colours to match the brand profile of Ringsted Liftudlejning.
“We wish Ringsted Liftudlejning all the best – and we expect their customers will benefit from the machine in many years to come,” said Lars Rønde, Sales Manager at TIME Danmark.
Earlier this year, TIME International launched the Versalift VTX-240 aimed at Equipment Rental Companies. The special boom design with 2 telescopic booms with each 2 extensions gives the lift the ability to reach up and over buildings as well as an impressive 24.2 metre working height. Having a GVW rating of just 3.5 tonne, the vehicle is accessible to operators with a regular class B driver’s licence.
Danish platform retailer TIME Danmark is expanding its range of access platforms for rental with the full portfolio of products from Canadian Skyjack. Skyjack produces self-propelled vertical mast, scissor and boom lifts for construction and TIME Danmark is set to sell, support and service all Skyjack products on the Danish market. TIME Danmark has also been appointed the new Nordic retailer of self-propelled scissor lifts on tracked undercarriages from Italian Almac.
The 11th International Conference on Live Maintenance (ICOLIM) last week in Budapest saw four Insulated Versalift access platforms in demonstrations of safe live line maintenance.
ICOLIM is a conference hosted by the Live Working Association (LWA) for experts engaged in the development and implementation of methods and technologies for working with live overhead power lines. TIME International was at ICOLIM with an insulated VST-5500-MHI access platform on a MAN truck and we were genuinely impressed with the organization of the event that saw four Insulated Versalift access platforms in a demonstration of safe live line work on the final day. The various demonstrations were carried out from VST-5500 and VO-350 insulated Versalift access platforms on different chassis.
TIME International, in co-operation with Volkswagen and AL-KO, now offers 3.5 t GVW lightweight Versalift access platforms mounted on the popular VW T5 Transporter chassis.
TIME International is ready with access platforms mounted on the popular VW T5 Transporter. The T5, traditionally a 3.2 t GVW vehicle at best, has been upgraded to the 3.5 t GVW class as it is being fitted with a reinforced AL-KO-chassis. The project is a strategic cooperation between Volkswagen, AL-KO and TIME International initiated in light of the high demand for the VW T5 in especially Germany. The extra 300 kg available will allow us to mount larger lifts on the chassis, provide a wider range of optional equipment - or simply offer a larger spare payload than otherwise possible. The 3.5 t GVW vehicle is accessible to operators with a regular drivers licence.
TIME International will be presenting a new full hydraulic Versalift access platform for compact 4x4 pickup trucks at the Vertikal Days expo 14-15 May in the UK.
TIME International is expanding its growing product portfolio with the introduction of the new articulated telescopic LAT-38-135-H available on the compact 4x4 Ford Ranger pickup truck. The full hydraulic access platform is aimed at the rough terrain market providing safe access to elevated worksites located outside of urban environments. The standard model is low voltage insulated rated at 1 kV but further insulation is available through a fiberglass insert in the fixed flyboom.
